First Practice and Team Meet & Greet 2013

Jones-Payton Girls Swim Meeting - August 12th & 13th, 1:00PM at PAYTON
The team meeting will be held in the cafeteria of Payton College Prep on both August 12th and 13th at 1:00PM where athletes can meet and greet with teammates and coaches, discuss team expectations and rules and gather paperwork. Please select either dates to drop off paperwork, in time for the season.
Please note - Each athlete must turn in four (4) forms before the first day of practice.
At this time, every athlete must complete the following forms to participate on the team:
v CPS Player Record Card
v Current and Up-to-date IHSA Physical
v IHSA Concussion form

First Official Practice - August 14th from 11am to 2pm
Armour Square Pool (near US Celluar Field in Bridgeport)
3309 S. Shields Ave.
Chicago, IL, 60616
The pool is an outdoor pool and located inside of the park district’s main building. We will have a meet-up area nearby the main building.
All athletes should be prepared for dryland and swimming workouts on Day One.
Required Equipment:
-One-piece practice suit
-Swim Cap and goggles
-Reusable Water bottle
-T-shirt, athletic shorts, athletic shoes, and socks
-Combination Lock (to lock your belongings in the locker room)
Practice procedures
1. Be on time
2. Be in the water on time
3. Have your equipment and water bottle
4. Work hard
5. Have a good attitude
